I got my extensions done at the Melasti Beach Resort Spa in Legian, I got 4 rows done and it cost about A$300 for the human hair (long).

It looked fantastic and i was really happy with it, it looked really good because i already had long hair but my hair is very thin and i just wanted it them to bulk it up a bit....

About 6 weeks later i noticed that it started matting at the roots, so i went to my hair dresser who specialises in hair extensions and she tried to remove them using acetone (the strongest acetone you can get which she said is not good for your hair) but we had no luck they would not budge...

I ended up getting them all cut out and lost heaps of my own hair, it was terrible...

My hair dresser said that it matted because of the way the hair was twisted/knotted to hold the extension in place, which is good because they wont fall out but eventually the hair grows and the knot will want to bunch up at the roots causing the matting...
