the Tjampuhan to be a lovely hotel.
I've stayed there a couple of times (in Agung fan-cooled and Raja a/c) and really enjoyed my stay both times.
The rooms are very traditional (rustic) as is the whole place really.
The bathrooms tend to be a bit dark and dimly lit but the balconies are nice overlooking the dense foliage of the ravine.Lots of massive trees with hanging vines make you feel like your in some sort of jungle resort.
The 2 pools are very nice (no swim up pool bars though) and the whole place is a maze of steep winding paths and steps that go from the river right up to the road.It has a really nice feel.
Breakfasts unfortunately are nothing special but the view from the open-air dining pavillion is very relaxing.
Hope this helps.
