Heading to Bali last week of March-7n/6d. Not long but have been recently in June & Dec so just a quick refresher taking advantage of Virgin special. May not head back for a while, depending on specials of course!
In Dec I only got 15mins to have a quick look around the markets in Ubud on way back from the zoo. Previously stayed up there for 4days in 2007. Have been looking at possibility of staying in Ubud for 1n only, given our short trip this time.
Would like to go up mid-morning, lunch, spend pm looking around shops and markets, nice dinner then the next am head to Safari Pk for few hours (prev done this in June too) and then head back down.
We have obviously already paid for our week's accommodation at Patra so this would be extra or doubling up! Recommended to try Gayatri from BTF referral and they will do room for all of us, all incl with B/F for Rp450K and then do t/fers for all incl Safari Pk and back to Patra for Rp400K (this is what I emailed him as I thought being reasonable).
Do you think this is silly considering we have paid accommodation already. If we were to do 2 day trips to Ubud and Safari Pk I think it would cost the extra anyway.
Any thoughts/opinions appreciated. Thanks
