hey we are off to the jayakarta in june with my 1.5 year and 4 year old. I have stayed there years ago in an apartment with my nephews and its perfect for kids. You get your own microwave and large fridge so can stock up on food they like from the carrefours supermarket. Last year we went when he was 1 and she was 3 and stayed in a hotel room which didnt really have a lot of room for all of us. This year booked a 1 bedroom private apartment with bunk beds for the kids, (little man will be in a cot!).
Found little man took a day to get used to there milk as its a lot sweeter than ours but he liked it and found our milk a little different when we got back. I bought the fresh milk (not the uht) from matahari and carrefours. At carrefours you can get all cereals kids like and we will most likely be having breakfast in our room, as there is a toaster as well. My kids are fully immmunised as per australia guidelines but didnt give them anything extra for bali as we didnt travel out of bali except to ubud. I took sanitiser gel and cleaned there hands with this and also miltons tablet and a big large plastic tub to clean little mans dummy and bottles and feeding stuff, he didnt get the runs once in our 2.5 weeks there. He did get an ear infection and we used BIMC, they were great. I took his stroller and one for my 3 year old and every night after tea they both feel asleep in them so hubby and I could enjoy our meal and a drink or three after. I took nappies with me, but this year wont will take what I need for the first day or two then go to carrefours and stock up ,they have everything and I mean everything. If they fav snacks maybe take some, I took some popcorn and fruit sticks as my kids loved them. My kids loved the yoghurt in bali and had that for breakfast or lunch almost every day. As I have been there with kids that age if you need anymore advice, have left email open for you.
