That was what you did back in the 80's, especially at the original Kuta markets. People would 'sell' their jeans there. I did that with an outfit that I had made, skirt & top. The stall holder liked it and wanted it (don't forget this was in the 80's and noone was selling western clothes as such) so on my last day I swapped/bartered my outfit for something I wanted. I had to pay a small amount of money, she did have to pay the rent on the stall. You couldn't do that now. Cheers, Stormy
