I've stayed there twice. It's quite a way south, but once we got a hang of the bemo's this didn't worry us a bit, we quite enjoyed the adventure of bemo-ing our way up to the north!
The good:
- we upgraded to a junior suite (3 adults, the standard room was way too small with an extra bed), and the suite was awesome. Heaps of space, massive bathroom, nicely decorated.
- the pools are great, even a bit chilly with the sea breeze coming through (which is nice and refreshing)
- the buffet breakfast is devine
- great cheap eateries on the beach to the left of the hotel (Donalds and Bobbys)
- great laundry and good internet place and convenience store across the road from the front of the hotel.
The bad:
- the air conditioning isn't individually controlled, and it was too hot for our liking (especially the second trip). We moved to another room and it was slightly better, but still too hot (we like it nice and cool over night). This is the only reason we're not staying there again this time.
