We would not walk to the beach from there - only because I wouldnt want to piggy back my son in the heat but it is reasonably near some very interesting other spots, more in village Sanur rather than tourist Sanur. There are some nice little local warungs on the bypass.
Gede will drop you anywhere you like in Sanur.
Lovely little hotel, very private and relaxing.
