you would probably get a more detailed response if we knew your exact local in Bali, what hotel etc, but just a cople of answer money belt bum bag. I would say no leave it at home to easy of a target only carry a little money with you at any one time, things are pretty cheap, food and drinks are cheap and if you do see something expensive you can always go back later with more money sometimes the extra time to thing makes sure you get the right price dont buy on impulse. Again the name of your hotel might bring more advice re babysitting. If you have a pram with big wheels it will be fine, but the streets are a real pain. Every body gets caught with the bartering and its a little uncomfortable at first but turn it into a game, start at a third of the asking price and and settle at the best you can get usually about half. Then get ready for a better price from the next person if you buy two. I find most kodak shop quite good at the exchanging of money but still recount your money and dont take your eys of the money as its being counted, its ususlly the second time they count the money out that some goes missing just be careful and do things slowly you will be fine. Dont get to upset about the comments re Capitals just remember small case next time
we all start somewhere, feel free to ask as many questions as you need and dont forget to do A Just Back Report (JBR) so we can all share your holiday good luck. Until you get use to the fare cost try a taxi with the metre on at first.
