we stayed with 2 kids and we had interconnecting rooms on ground floor...nice clean rooms etc...great spa facilities and we all had family massages right down the back of hotel in outdoor cottages...only thing with the febris at the moment is the construction being done next door (left when facing hotel)...stayed at santika australia day week and went to febris for massage...drilling etc, i dont know if they drill all day..and how long constructiopn will be for??? maybe email hotel and ask?? in saying that, we stay now at the Patra as the accomodation (deluxe suite) is excellent with family and children, for a while there was the beach works going on right on the sand in front of the resort so?? what do you do...i guess if a hotel was having the pool refurbished you would like to know before you book!!!!! any more info just ask...cheers
