We got the gadget thing from dick smiths and put some VCR onto DVD but found it very time consuming because you have to change it from analogue to digital and so need to load the VCR onto your computer and then change it into digital format before burning the DVD. I think I got that right, Im a bit techno challenged but thats the gist of it. I also got all my childhood movies on 8mm (not super 8) film put onto DVD. I got it done at Churchill's on Railway Pde in Perth. About 3 hrs worth. They put it to music and it cost me $440. A lot of money but so worth it. Im now 43 and I have my first smile, first steps, childhood b'day parties etc.. on DVD.
