to June 08 that was what I mean't. We stayed at the same hotel and the price of food had gone up 40% and drink 70%.
Yes I could stay at a $30 a night place but I choose not to as I want a bit of luxury when I go on holidays.
I do love going to Bali and have been to many other places but didn't enjoy them as much as Bali.
I was too young in 1978 to know the facts as you do. I've only being going to Bali for the last 20 years.
The hotel we stay at have put their prices up every year since we have been going there which has been the last 6 years and I don't have a problem with that. The food prices go up aswell however when we were there at Christmas and New Year the price of food was up 40%, expensive compared to June, so much so that we ate elsewhere. Our friends came to dine at our hotel and were shocked when they got the bill, so I am not the only person complainig about price.
I have no interest in travelling in Australia, Australians save their money to go on a holiday to Bali and we have always enjoyed value for money and that's why we keep going back.
I was surpised because our hotel prices had gone up and other places prices where a lot lower especially for drinks, so why can some charge the higher prices and some charge the lower prices, this is what I don't understand.
I do stay at a 3 star but so did our friends who stayed at KTH and their drinks where 40% lower than ours.
Can you or anyone explain that please to me and don't tell me because Alcohol went up because it went up everywhere in Bali. Food prices also went up but not at the KTH someone explain this to me.
If its not been taken advantage of at our hotel then what is it.
