I am guessing that you have and Australian drivers licenses for motor bike in Australia. If you have a licenses in Australia that covers you for a 250 cc (1 year required) in Australia then you are fine. If you ride without a Helmut in Bali and your passenger as well you are not covered. I would say the price is around 2000 per liter. The bottles you get at roadsides is quite safe and they might try to charge a little more but not that much and most times the same as everywhere. At the servo just check your change
I always hire a bike depending on the length of time as you might be for about 30,000 per day with their insurance per day that only covers you for insurance their.
