return back 'home' just how people are so wrapped up in their own thoughts/world etc, to manage a simple hello.
We actually make a game of it for the first few weeks back, to see how many people respond - not many!!! And boy some look at us as if we are from another planet lol.
Sooooo many people say 'oh the poor Balinese they don't have this, can't afford to have that' - but they have ALOT more than alot of people think!!!!
We've all probably got 2 or more TV's in our houses (and same with DVD players), ipods, computers, clothes dryers, chest freezers, air conditioning etc, 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms ensuites etc etc.
And if any of these 'must have's' breaks down we curse and stress until its fixed or replaced!!!!We complain that we can't keep trhe house clean, the bathrooms clean, get frustrated when the computer plays up, the lawnmower wont start, or we can't find the song we want to download.......
We dont' have time to stop and smell the roses - we are too busy making a living.
When we should be having a life - we are only here once!!!
