It is a budget hotel and if that is what you are after and dont expect much it can be good.
First night we had a group of boys above us that sounded like a heard of elephants that were moving the furniture around til about 4am. We moved rooms to a single storey and slept well after that.
The pool is tiny, there is a very busted up pool table and a playing court that the light was always broken for. When we were there, there seemed to be quite a few teenagers staying there. It is a small hotel but had quite a friendly atmosphere.
They sprayed a noisy mossie machine that puffed out smoke each evening. They made towel animals on our beds each day which was sweet. Although they consistently left us 3 towels when there were 4 in the room.
Rooms were a little tired but no different to many other hotels that even cost more. Breakfast was very limited and after a couple of days got to be pretty hard to face. I didnt eat eggs for ages after this holiday.
It is down a pretty dingy back alley, but close walking distance to lots of good places to eat and shop.
All in all - if you expect backpacker/cheapo accomodation you will be impressed. If you expect a nice resort hotel you may be disappointed.
