I have attended the Casa Luna cooking school a few times and loved it. Main concern was that numbers were too large in the last session. It is great to do the morning class when you start by touring the ubud market first.
When we stayed at Tegal Sari in 2007, we did their class. There is a minimum number of attendees, maybe 4 could be 6, but it was sensational. They hold the classes in a disused restaurant, on the driveway heading into the TS carpark, on the left. Our chef/teacher was executive chef Nyoman who had been with the Hyatt group and now owns Sate Bali in Seminyak.
