I have to say I loved Lovina but 4 days was enough for the kids.  My serenity started to cloud as we edged back to Kuta.BGH; great location. Have already posted further info.Puspasari Laundry (Jl Kartika); regularly used for washing/ironing for 2 weeks - excellent service and never a problem (4,000RP for a dress).Hair Extensions: "Sandy the body care centre" (Jl Singosari - oppposite Bali Bagia).  Daughter had 70 hair extensions for $200.  They were secured with metal thingos so she didn't have to cut them out (they were easily removed last night). They looked okay (a bit Paris for me)- probably the best available in Bali (supposed to be real hair but I ?).  Our 14 year old blonde, blue eyed daughter, didn't need the added attention!  It was a bit of fun for her but I wouldn't have been happy if it were me.Carefour; I have a fascination with supermarkets.  My only complaint is I took Bob!!  Could have spent hours perusing.  BUT not everything is cheap (ie electrical) - beauty products were mostly purchased.Money Changers; Had 2 dodgies - both recounted the money after i'd checked it (damn they're good!!) and surprise surprise when I recounted I was short changed!  Both were caught out but it ticked me off as i'd generously given a "gold coin" to one.  Both in Legian, one next door to "Cafe Etnik" and the other opposite "Kings" down the road from Legends. On a postive, The money changer/Internet opposite Melasti Beach Bungalows (Indian Rest next door) were FANTASTIC.  Restaurants; didn't have a bad meal.  Only ate at the BGH twice (Sushi for room service) all great.  Highlight was Gongs Corner (sister to Bambu) - had Carpet Bag Steak (Bali style) for a total of $5!  Also had 3 x Small Crayfish at Bambu for $9.  I felt Gongs was cleaner (good loo)- we had to turn the table cloth over at Bambu.  Bali Bagia was also a good feed as was Green Garden, Febris, Mini for seafood and Uncle Joe's.Tailors; As creatures of habit, we ventured back toward to the Balihai and used Mr Forrest (who unfortunately passed away recently)for a suit ($80 AUD), halter dress ($70) and we also had brown "Johnny Reb" style boots made for about $70.Bali Medical Centre; Rusty got sick.  As kids do, he went from good to bad VERY quickly.  Got the Doc in...who brought a nurse. Excellent service (3 intravenes drugs) In case Bali Beli, Tonsilitis, etc. Be prepared though, it cost 2.5 million RP. Hopefully 1Cover will reimburse - have sent the documents so just waiitng for a cheque! DVD's; Hired a DVD player - readily available from any DVD shop.  Bought heaps (like 200) - so far, all good, apart from Australia :o(The other Prada Lounge; As soon as we checked in, we were asked if we wanted to go to the lounge.  Kids free, good value (I think $15) - good place to have a drink before your flight.Trip home was CRAP.  Jetstar lost the Wire Award.  The host didn't bother to ask Rusty if he wanted food, drinks (apparently 12 year olds don't get hungry).  Annoyed, I pressed the hosty button but he just returned and turned it off!  We'd taken sleeping tablets (available from local chemist) but I just couldn't get comfortable enough to sleep...making me very grumpy.Customs; With a boy, the first thing you are generally asked is "do you have any BB Guns" ???- this time, straight thru - not even an Xray.  We'd already donated Rusty's arsenal.Qantas; Missed our flight waiting for paintings(special luggage so we found out) - I worried as we were on the QFFlyers but not a problem, straight on to the next plane. We all had a great but relaxing time.  Bali is a fabulous family holiday - cheap, easy and so much fun.
