I sent home one 20kg box in January using EMS, cost was around 1,800,000 rp and the exchange rate was 7200rp, so that equates to $250 or $12.50 per kilo.
Last year I used EMS and DHL and found rates fairly comparable, only difference being EMS you use your own box, which you must obtain yourself and can be any size. DHL you must use their 'jumbo' size box, which is not very big at all. You may struggle to fit 20kg of clothing into that size box.
Please note that rates for both EMS and DHL are worked back into rupiah from US dollars, therefore, the amount you pay in rupiah can vary.
