I think that the advice of TnT is correct.
Once you have passed through immigration control on your 30th day, you have effectively left Indonesia.
The advice from another poster re your possible purchase of a 60 day visa is incorrect.
Not only do I believe that it would be unnecessary, the details re a purchase are in error.
Should you need to obtain a 60 day visa, and as I have said I don't think it necessary, you can purchase a single entry "tourist visa" for which no Indonesian sponsor is required prior to leaving your country of departure.
An Indonesian sponsor is necessary if you purchase a "social Budaya"
visa, which is issued for an initial period of 60 days, and can be extended under certain conditions to a total of six months.
The original cost of either of the above visas in Australia is AU$60.
I suggest you seek confirmation of the above from your nearest Indonesian Consulate or Embassy.
