I have just been checking out the same information and this is what I have found from a lot of previous forum posts.

You can post goods from the PO behind the Bintang supermarket. Up to 20 kg which is packed into boxes there at no extra charge. Do not include anything tht you would have to declare like wood or shells as otherwise it will have to be opened and inspected. It's a relatively cheap, slow way, to send home excess. It costs about AUD $70 for 20 kg, depending on the current exchange rate of course.

For a much faster, but quite a lot more expensive, way you can use Electronic Mail Service also at the post offices, It is trackable and is usually delivered within 7 days. You must be home to sign for it and you can check all details on the internet with the track number so you know what day it arrives. If you are not home it will be delivered to your closest Post Office for collection. Check out this link for the latest rates $US26 for 2 kg and $US3.50 for each 500g after that for parcels to Australia: http://ems.posindonesia.co.id/tarifems.html
