breaky was included and was lots to choose from...where you ate looked onto pool and beach on decking or inside with windows opened or you could go into seperate air cond section and dine too...choice of that was good...I would definately say the rooms we stayed in at the patra were more modern. But the main thing for us was space, Patra for value for money is fantastic, huge deluxe suites with cabinet with fridge etc then round dining table and lounge with coffee table 2 arm chairs and big sofa which pulled out as bed and balcony. Sliding doors to bedroom with balcony then corridor to dressing area and massive bathroom with sunken tub. we have always upgraded to club suite which these suites are finished off a little better but not alot of difference. Walking thru resort is nice with pathways, love the layout of hotel that is not multistory so only in units of 4, 2 up and 2 down with stairs in the middle so not much noise. ask for north side rooms as they have sliding doors to seperate rooms...Curtains are good with blockout, our kids slept in mind you swimming will tire them out!!!Santika was loveley and wicked location but for what we paid which was $350.00 more there was no breaky. We had someone in room above us and it was a bit noisy, after a while you think what are you doing up there!!!! santike didnot have interconnectin rooms upstairs. They have garden double queen with 2 big beds but all in one big room, not to our liking as we like to put kids to bed then watch movie etc...i am a big shopper and the Patra forced me to relax a lot more and plan shopping trips but in saying that there is 5 free shuttles or a cab is $1 which wait outside hotel and staff call in for you...Patra has real resort feel to it and 3 pools!! Seriously the Patra is not far out at all...try it - for value for money its great...cheers Lisa
