wrapped in bubble wrap and taped, it did fit in overhead locker on plane, we were a bit naughty and didnt show guy at check in counter and ask if ok as hand luggage, we sort of figured it would fit and my husband carried it as he is tall and i am short, he said against me it looke huge!!! he is 6ft so looke smaller with him carrying!! the beg gecko we had to find wrapping and we got aqua cardboard boxes from deli-supermarket next to dynasty and layed flat and bought masking tape etc...ws protect well so we put thru as fragile luggage and it was ok...
