I spent some time on the phone with Garuda looking at different dates and eventually settled on a date but the $60 deal wasnt available on that date. I decided to book all the same (for $859 each) so was transferred to the reservations dept. He booked us on the chosen date and we did get the cheaper flights, so Melb - Denp return, Aug, $729 each which incl taxes.
Deal is on from Feb - Nov excluding school holidays.
