I just got back from staying there for 9 days and stayed there last year too. It's clean, but is a bit run down compared to other places but hey it's tropical weather and the money you save can be used to go on adventures and see the real Bali. Its got a lot of Chinese but they are on tours during the day, lots of Russians too.
The beach in front is great and the pool is clean.
Don't expect Aussie standards. The food is good, the place next door has great banana milkshakes, 15,000idr. Massages on the beach for 100,000. If you are taking kids or the missus who want hair braiding take a walk down the beach to the left of Club Med, Cathy and the girls do the best braiding for 200,000 well worth.
I will go there again and take the family too.
