I have done the Casa Luna cooking school in Ubud 4 times now over the past couple of years with my last visit there for the 3 day cooking course. The Wedensday class (I think) takes in a visit to the Ubud market first thing in the morning where you get to learn about the produce, sample a couple of things and shown and have explained to you the different cooking tools etc used in the Balinese kitchen. Once back at the cooking school you get to learn about all the different herbs and spices used and then begin preparing and cooking the 6-7 differnt dishes which you later enjoy for lunch. It really is a fantastic day and i highly recommend it. Price wise it is still very cheap with each class i think only around $25-30 per person. Anyway have a look on their website and it lists the different programs for each day along with the list of food to be cooked each day. One of the highlights of my many visits to Bali i can assure you. cheers Robyn
