I'm a sufferer of chronic ear disease, problems with eustation tubes ventilating, operations etc.
I have been a frequent flyer and have got away with flying providing I take decongestants. I've just seen my ear specialist and as always he's suggested I don't fly. If I do fly tomorrow he suggested I use decongestant nose spray together with oral decongestants and "Earplane" plugs that apparently regulate the air pressure caused through landing.
If anyone has similar problems when flying can you tell me what you use during the flight and landing to reduce any after effects from the flight.
I am supposed to be flying Jetstar Mel/Dps tomorrow and now I am panicking!
