Hi Mazzaa. Wait and change your money in the kodack shops or the bank when you get there. You can pay for your Visa in aus dollars and they will give you change in RP. you get a better rate if you change $100 notes make sure you count the money out at the counter in front of the changer.
Don't dink the local water. Only drink bottled water use it to clean your pearlers too. Take a bottle hand gel and use it before you eat. You can get a phone card at Matahari in Kuta. While your there you can get a good idea what the prices are. They sell most anything. keep 150 thousand rp aside for your exit fee.
