i agree with aly,checkout nusa lembongan island only a 45 minute
boat ride from sanur.
awesome place,great snorkling ,no hawkers to hassle you.
also checkout Amed on the east coast of bali about 3 hours drive from kuta.
snorkle from the beach right in front of your hotel.
