I cannot believe the rhetoric we find on the forum. If u want to go to Bali go and have a good time. I have just returned and found cheap booze, plenty of it and I do not go to the beach to swim so did not have a problem with plastic bags. Did not pat a dog, no rabies, did not scratch my eyes, no conjunctivitis. And it is not the Government doing the damage to prices it is the money grabbing hotel owners in Tuban/Kuta/Legian who are making it hard for some. Just find a cheaper place to stay and get out of the busy areas, you can still go there for a visit anyway.
