11 days in Bali. I myself considered the VIP VOA as I was arriving at that time of evening by myself with 2 small children. Decided not to and save my money instead to use at the departure lge on way out. Good decision!! No other flights when we arrived - Mon 15th. Got thru really quick and I was quite a way down the plane(only their not so efficient processing that slowed us!!). My husband came thru at that time on Fri 19th and there were 2 or 3 planes at same time. As the planes are so often delayed I'm not sure the flight data can be taken as a guide. Garuda has been bad lately from Perth. We arrived at 6.50pm tonight and if the Garuda plane I saw was the 5.15pm then it was gonna be pretty late!! Happened to us in June.
Entirely up to you. I've never been unfortunate to get a huge queue going thru VOA but I've heard it can be a couple of hours!!
Used the Prada Lounge at Denp a\port on way out for couple of hours. It was great. Incl. food, drinks, alcohol, internet and a nice clean place to spend a couple of hours before the flight. Much better value for my $$ I decided.
