reply and in the spirit of Christmas and a new beginning I withdraw it and will try to let you know why we feel Garuda Business is well worth what we pay for it.
We first used it from NZ when the flight was nonstop 9 hours and have since used it many times.
The better service starts from a quick checkin without long queue and with an extra 10kg baggage and more carry-on allowance. Then quicker movement through passport control and baggage check with one of the Express lane cards so very soon in their lounge relaxed, quiet and enjoying first champagne of day while waiting to be called to board after the rush is over.
Then greeted with cold towel and more champagne, juice, water before take-off. There are four staff for 42 seats on A330 so service is great, friendly and constant.
Meals are served properly course by course and always good choices. The wine is French and good and free flowing. A real port and cognac goes down a treat with chocs.
The seats let you spread right out and my long legs only just let me put foot on seat ahead. You have long recline, leg rest, TV at hand, etc.
Leaving the plane you are first off and so first to immigration. Then your luggage will be taken off the carousel and be waiting for you.
All in all I think well worth the money and it makes both travel days part of the holiday and not a tiring hassle at each end of holiday.
Pax - and I don't know what a dropkick is
