I know that this may not be fully relavent, but I thought I'd give you the Jetstar Example. I have flown both normal and Star Class in Jetstar. You do really notice the difference but it really depends on your budget. For jetstar, I found that the food was much better (tasted like real food!!!), along with the service and seating. The biggest plus ironically was the business lounge on the way home, along with the extra baggage you can take. If you fly Jetstar then I might suggest you fly Economy on the way there and Star Class on the way back, but only if you can't get a Jetsaver Fare (I personally dont think it's worth $4-500 a ticket one way extra, but maybe $200 is fair. If she is hinting that she wants to go to Bali in style, you can always use the VIP VOA and then pay 100,000 RUP for a Business lounge once you check into the airport to leave. That allows you pay a little more $$$ for a better hotel. If that fails, just remind her how many more massages she can get for the price. If she does not cruicify you, she can probably get 4-5 full 12 HR days of massages per person as a minimum.
