Don't know if I'll post this as just finished my 1st bottle of champagne (and can still spell it!!)but have been thinking about what I'll put in my JBR so might as well try....6th trip I think - have always gone without children (5 and 7) but missing them has always put a damper on things so this time decided to take the "bad tempered" one - daughter (5) as I knew she would fit right in. She may have her fathers temper but just knew she has her mothers adventure in her...took off from Gold Coast via Sydney(booked over 14 months ago unfortunetly(can't spell that one for the life of me)) with Jetstar - all I can say is THANK GOD or whoever I never have to do that again...will fly direct from Brissy from now on...we got into the cab at Sydney and said "off to international airport" (and I always tip as I now it's not a large fare for them)and he just sat there beeping his horn hoping we would get out!! So not a lovely start in Sydney..knowing they are so much more nicer where we were going...flight good - daughter seemed to occupy herself quite well so all was good. Don't leave home without a portable DVD player - worth their money in Gold...Had VIP VOA when we got there - must say was not offered a beer and was too tired to even ask...as there was not too many planes at that time, believed it didn't give us very much of a head start but having a 5 year old was happy I did it. Very nice service. OFF to Ida Hotel...All I can say tonight - the staff were very friendly..and the room not bad. Must go now and serve the husband (arghhhh) more to COME!!!!!
