Merry Xmas all.
Weather today is hot and sunny, very humid.
Lunch will be at Koris, we originally booked Ketupat, but family decided on something more traditional (Indo would have done me fine)
Bintang prices are up in most places, hard to find small below fifteen K.
Prices in supermarket are still not too bad, with small available at just over 9K.
There is now real savings in buying from s'market and stocking fridge instead of always at the bar / pool bar.
We used VOA VIP for the first time.
There are some real pluses to this service, not all of which are obvious, and I won't enlarge here...try it if you want to find out.
Massive clean up on the beach this morning, thousands with rakes etc, and plenty to do.
KTH is well booked, and the new section looks great and integrates well with stage one.
I have trialled the Bali sat nav system in the Avanza, and it works well so far.
This is a real plus for those who are keen to get out and about.
We used it to get home from an orphanage trip to Tabanan, and also up and around Ubud, and we are happy with the system.
We are using with a Garmin (760 I think)
We are looking forward to having some fitted cabinets put into the townhouse, thanks to arrangements made by my old mate DennisC.
Supposed to be in already, but a bit of Jam Karet I think.
Well, back to Bintang time and get ready for Lunch.
KTH have a big lunch on, and well booked.
Things are running well with Andrew now pulling the strings....good to see.
Will post more later.
