i had it in thailand. it was minced, mixed with chilli, lemongrass and other spices and cooked. we had it with sticky rice.
not something that i would really crave again (im not a big meat eater) but it was the thing to do at the time as i was in the middle of a ceremony in a minority hilltribe group.
not sure about the tenderising process, but im pretty sure they didnt 'drag it behind a motorbike' as reported here.
each to their own i say. theres a lot more gross things that people eat.
