If you are staying in Legian, you can go down to the early morning market on the corner of Jl Melasti and Jl Legian. The site has lime green tin around the perimetre. Markets starts about 3 am I think, but we often wander down around 7. There are gazilions of bananas and a bunch of about 10 costs around 5000rp.
