Trevor and I stayed at Matahari Tulamben Resort, August 08.
It was ok accomodation. Its beachfront.
Tulamben was pretty quiet. We found a few restaurants and were the only guests eating there. There are lots of scuba divers who stay in the area, like we probably saw 90% there to dive the wreck. Some arrive by bus early and return that night.
There were some other hotels close by, Mimpi Hotel was far more upmarkets and next door. There was also Tauch Terminal Tulumben, Dive resort and Spa.
The beach is very very rocky.
