Hi Toni,

The offering class that we took was arranged through the Kumara Sakti Hotel and their staff taught it. I've never run across this type of class elsewhere but maybe you could find something like it if you do a google search. It was very informative and we learned that those little banana leaf baskets are really quite difficult to make...especially if you are not into crafts, like me. When we finished we got to offer one of the offerings to the temple at the hotel and the other one we took to our rooms. It was a very relaxing and spiritual way to start our journey in Bali.

We just had lunch at the Saranam Eco Resort so not sure if they offer classes. They have a large restaurant overlooking beautiful rice terraces as well as their bungalows, which are dotted below...really green and lush.

Wish I was in Queensland right now!!! It has snowed for the past 2 weeks in Calgary...more snow than I've ever seen here. The ski hills are all happy but it's not fun driving in this. It's taking most people 2 hours to do a drive that is normally 20 minutes because it is so icy. It's really hard to stop and once you do you can't get going again because your tires just spin.
