daughter who is now a teenager with a peanut allergy and I take Zyrtec for her to have every day and also travel with 2 epipens one for back up just in case check the airline you fly with doesent offer peanuts on the flight and just mention to the passengers whom are on the flight that she has a peanut allergy just in case they do offer peanuts for a snack honestly we have never had an issue when we have mentioned this to fellow passengers...we have never had a problem with food most of the restaurants cook in vegetable oil and only a few bars offer peanuts as a snack she has been over 7 times now and never a problem but understand your concern for the first trip....relax and have a great time she will be ok
