...you're glad you asked that! ha. Hey, it's rude if you think it's rude I guess but its only a small amount to pay I reckon considering how cheap the rest of the holiday is. I remember going to Spain quite a few years ago and the visa was ridiculous, can't remember how much precisely but it was RUDE. ha.
