Hi, stayed at KP in November and loved it. We were in S Block (new block), our room was great - much better than the standard room at Alam Kulkul and half the price! Room was extremely clean, white towels, nothing at all I could complain about. I'll definitely go back there, the location is fanastic and grounds beautiful.
As for the cat - everywhere I've been to in Bali has cats!
Breakfast (in my opinion) was fine, much the same as anywhere else, also a beautiful location to eat your breakfast in is a bonus!
You must have lucked out on the room service, we had it three times (friend was sick!) and it was lovely each time.
