We stayed in the new cottages where there is two level or three levels. Ours was fantastic. Appointed well and very comfortable. The room attendents kept them clean on a daily basis. Their is two showers, one over the bath and a separate one. Our air con did break down after three days of being there however we were promptly moved to a new room, with the assistance of staff. I had also been over to the Jayakarta and found their one bedrooms to be shabby and not maintained very well. However Melasti does need to address their maintenance schedule. At the end of the day it isn't the Dynasty or the Accor, you get what you paid for. On a different note, the pools were fantastic at the Melasti and well maintained.

If I was to travel again and wanted to stay in Legian I would stay at the Melasti. The staff were attentive especially since I was travelling with a 6 year old.

Good travelling
