The Samsara Hotel is owned by the same people that own the Bali Garden opposite Waterbom. I have stayed there and it is beautiful, modern and I suppose boutiquee and the pool is smaller than some of the hotels, but sandstone and saltwater and lovely. The only issue is because it is a small hotel about 35 rooms from memory they do have a swim-up pool bar but it wasn't being serviced but they are more than happy for you to take your own drinks.
