The suites have a small verandah room which sleeps 1 or 2 kids & a main bedroom which is huge.These have been renovated in the last few years.
The newer rooms at the Melasti are about the same size as the Jayakarta deluxe rooms & they surround on the pool area. The Jayakarta rooms are mostly set back from the pool area.
Jayakarta has apartments at the back of the property near the street entrance & they are 1,2 or 3 bedrooms with a kitchen & lounge area.
Jayakarta is an older hotel & is showing its age. I prefer the pools at the Jayakarta to the Melasti though.
