We were also recently in Munduk. It is very beautiful there with cool clear air. It is far from the madding crowds of Kuta. Quiet and peaceful and also certainly early to bed!!
Puri Lumbung is lovely.
Try to get a bungalow away from the road.
The food there is also good.
