Haven't been to the Elephant park in Taro so I can't compare, but from what I've heard the elephant ride would be better there. The safari park ride was a pretty basic ride around a boring track, but if all you want is to have been on an elephant it would do. I think it was supposed to be 1/2 hour but I think in reality it took about 15-20mins.
