The prices at Makro are already discounted.
The two prices displayed on shelves are the before and after tax price.
You will see the tax is added onto the bill under PPN.
It is the same as a restaurant putting the price on a menu and then putting ++ at the bottom of the page.
At the bottom of the Makro bill is an amount listed as kembalian. This is what bbkelly has assumed to be a discount. It is in fact the change from the amount you have tendered.
