Thanks so much to the Dadvet and the others on the forum for warnings about rabies. My daughter was bitten by a monkey in the Monkey Forest 10 days ago. We weren't too concerned as we thought Bali was free of rabies. I had a look on the forum and found that was not so. The BIMC in Kuta confirmed that there had been deaths and started her on the vaccine course. Only now have there been official warnings about the outbreak. Thanks also for the advice about the BIMC, they have been wonderful, so efficient friendly and patient with my daughter who has a fear of needles. We are at the airport now and she has two more vaccinations to go once we are back in Perth.
