I have bought spices, coffee, foodstuffs etc back from Bali many times. I always declare. I always buy vanilla pods from the Ubud markets as my sons are both pastry chefs and get very excited about bulk vanilla pods! I also shop at Bintang and bring home lots of spice mixes in packets. I have always found quarantine to be particularly helpful and pleasant.
