the poison is being put into bakso balls, or the dogs have been bludgeoned. I personally know expats who have been going to the popular tourist beach at Kuta in the very early hours around dawn to keep watch, hoping to prevent healthy animals being poisoned. To put this into perspective, one healthy pup outside BGH was poisonted and killed, a dog called Bruno who I have seen for years near the warung outside Inna Kuta Beach, a healthy male similar to a golden retriever, was found dead in the morning. A dog named Putih who suffered from a skin disorder but who was being treated daily and had significantly recovered, found poisoned and dead. None of these dogs showed any sign of rabies infection. This all so reminiscent of the last culling prior to heads of state of other countries meeting in Bali.
