I booked my (& my 3yo's) first trip for Feb09, all the media hype around the time of the executions did give me the heeby-jeebies. But worse than that, because I am taking my daughter, I have family on my back about it too, her grandparents, her father etc are all questioning the trip.
I considered cancelling at one point but I have now decided to go ahead but I will book accommodation in quieter areas, we can do day trips to kuta for shopping. and to be honest, when travelling with a small child I don't really want to be in the busy active areas, we just want to shop, swim and relax :-)
When you have kids you do worry more :-)
